Terms of sale and use

1. Who we are

This site and Profit Leak Finder are provided by Owner's Margin ("we", "us"). Contact: support@ownersmargin.com.

2. What you're buying

Profit Leak Finder is a digital toolkit delivered as a ZIP download. It contains a Microsoft Excel workbook (Profit-Leak-Finder.xlsx) and PDF guides: Start Here, Printable Assessment, Sample Report, AI Implementation Studio, and License and Disclaimer, plus a version note. It is not software as a service, a subscription, coaching or a course.

It is built and tested for Microsoft Excel desktop and Excel Online. Google Sheets is best effort. Apple Numbers isn't supported. You need your own copy of Excel or a free Microsoft account for Excel Online.

3. Price and payment

• The price is $47 USD, charged once. There are no recurring charges.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Sales tax may be added at checkout where the law requires it. The total is shown before you pay.
• If we offer any optional add-on, it's shown separately at checkout, unticked, with its own price. You only pay for what you choose.

4. Delivery

After payment, the confirmation page gives you a button to download the ZIP. Downloads never start on their own. If you have any trouble downloading, email us and we'll send the files another way.

5. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase for any reason. See the refund policy.

6. Your licence to use it

• You may use the toolkit for your own business, on as many of your own devices as you like.
• You may not resell, share publicly, upload to file-sharing sites, or repackage the files or their contents as your own product.
• We keep ownership of the toolkit, its content and the Owner's Margin and Profit Leak Finder names.

7. Estimates, not advice

Profit Leak Finder produces educational estimates from the answers you type in and the assumptions stated in the workbook. It is not accounting, tax, legal, investment, financial planning or fiduciary advice, and it doesn't replace a qualified professional. Any decision you make with it is yours. Examples on this site and in the Sample Report come from a fictional business and are not typical or promised results. See the results disclaimer.

8. Your data

The workbook runs on your computer. We don't receive anything you type into it. How we handle the details you give us at checkout is described in the privacy policy.

9. Warranty and liability

We've built and tested the toolkit carefully and will fix genuine errors we're told about. Beyond that and the money-back guarantee, the toolkit is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business decisions made using the estimates, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

10. Using this website

Please don't misuse the site, attempt to break its security, or copy its content for commercial use. The quick check on the sales page runs entirely in your browser and is an indicator only.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections that the laws of where you live give you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought applies to your purchase. The date at the top shows the latest change.
