Privacy policy

Short version: the numbers you put into Profit Leak Finder never reach us. We only get what's needed to sell you the toolkit and support you: your name, email, country and payment record (Stripe handles the card). We don't sell personal information. Advertising cookies stay off unless you accept them.
Who is responsible
Owner's Margin, is responsible for personal information collected on this site. Privacy questions go to support@ownersmargin.com; that inbox is handled by the person accountable for privacy here.
What we never receive
- Anything you type into the workbook. It runs offline on your computer. There's no login, upload, bank connection or cloud sync.
- Your answers to the quick check on our sales page. They're processed in your browser and never sent to us.
- Your full card number. Stripe processes payments; we only see the card brand and last four digits.
What we collect and why

We send emails about your purchase, such as your receipt, delivery help and important product updates. We only send marketing email if you've given permission, and every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who handle data for us under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Stripe for payments and receipts (Stripe privacy policy).
- Cloudflare for hosting, security and file delivery (Cloudflare privacy policy).
- Meta Platforms, only if you accept advertising cookies (Meta privacy policy).
- Our email provider, if you've agreed to receive our emails.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect against fraud. We don't sell personal information for money.
The Meta Pixel and advertising cookies
This site may use the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta, to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads. When it's active, Meta can collect information such as the pages you view, the fact that you made a purchase, your IP address and browser details, and use cookies to connect this with your Meta account. Meta uses this according to its own data policy. We don't send Meta your quick-check answers or anything from the workbook.
The pixel stays off unless you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a "Decline". You can change your choice at any time on our cookie policy page. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Details are in our cookie policy.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it, except what we must keep for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons;
- stop using it for marketing;
- withdraw any consent you've given.
Email support@ownersmargin.com. We'll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
US state privacy rights
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have the rights above. Some of these laws treat ad-measurement tools like the Meta Pixel as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out of that sharing using Your privacy choices, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor. We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. You can use an authorized agent to make a request. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our response.
How long we keep it
- Purchase and tax records: as long as tax law requires, normally up to 7 years.
- Support emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Pixel and cookie data: as described in the cookie policy.
Where it's stored
Our service providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries. The laws of those countries may let their authorities access it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the payment industry's highest security standard. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to run the business.
Children
This site and product are for business owners. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so on this page and, if you're a customer, by email.
